What are you doing?!

Sometimes a small idea can yield big changes. Our intention is to create a system that easily allows conscious consumers to recycle their yoga mats. The goal is to keep yoga mats out of the landfills and put them back into a new product life cycle.


Why recycle yoga mats?

Because there are a lot of worn out yoga mats out there and until now there wasn’t a formal way to recycle them. In addition, yoga is growing in popularity. As yoga grows so will the waste from our practice. RYM is a great way to help the environment two fold - by keeping yoga mats out of the landfill, and by creating another reusable materials supply chain.


Business Plan 101

Our goal is to collect as many mats as possible, continue conversations with manufacturers and businesses interested in using the mats, as well as continue talks with yoga manufacturers so we may partner together and help make yoga mat sustainability a part of our yoga practice.
